This month’s woolly mucker is Susan Hobkirk, aka macpark, on ravelry. Susan is a long time supporter of all things KnitBritish and I thank her so much for sponsoring the show.
Currently she is knitting the Houlland Hap, in Exquiste from WYS and she is almost finished Marie Wallin’s Fair Isle Blanket KAL. Tune in to hear us chat later in the show!
I'm back after me holidays and have a chat with my woolly mucker Susan and another blind wool review.
Susan Hobkirk lives in Salisbury and she got on skype this week, (for the first time!) to answer our woolly mucker questions. Listen in all you guys with great 80s pattern knowledge as Susan talks about the first big knit she remembers casting off (the Return of the Entrelac sweater). When Susan talks about her top yarn she really has a surprise for us too!
Some of the muckers agreed to another blind wool test drive - so listen in to hear how a very special luxe workhorse British cross breed yarn shaped up for Maylin, Anthea, Sue and I. I'll keep it a secret here but its in the shownotes and if you really want to know what the yarn is before you get to that segment then this link will take you to the yarn!
I'll be back on 21st (if not before!) with another episode - I've been working behind the scenes on #ClearLabelling and interviewing some proper aweome woolly people to bring you over the summer. I hope your woolly appetites are suitably whetted.
Apologies...I've got a squeaky chair in this episode!
