episode 28 Indie Burgh Yarn Crawl news

17-04-2017

Shownotes for this episode can be found at KnitBritish.

  • Indie Burgh Yarn Crawl

Jess James spills the beans on this years Edinburgh based yarn crawl, which this year happens over 2days with lots of added extras, including workshops!

Jess also discusses the Neighbo(u)rhood Sheep Socilety Club.

  • Blacker Lyonesse

Blacker Yarns are releasing a wool and linen blend soon. I was sent a ball and it has quite changed my opinion of summer yarns! Listen in to learn why! Blacker Lyonesse is avalable from 1st May, comes in 6 colours in both DK and 4ply and costs £5.75

  • Spin on / Spin off

I have been sent some wonderful rolags from Deb at Fondant Fibre. In Shetland, merino silk and alpaca it is a dreamy combination that spins so easily and beautifully.

  • Hapalong

This has been an amazing KAL so far and I can’t believe the amount of hap-ers out there. The hap chat thread is bursting with chat, with inspiration and great images and I am blown away by the effort and embracing of the hap design. It's not to late to join in. Please join us in the hap chat thread for full enabling.

I am back in 2 weeks with an interview at Jamiesons of Shetland. Enjoy your Bank Holiday Weekend next week!
