episode 18 in conversation with Karie Westermann

17-04-2017

Just before Christmas I got together with designer Karie Westermann to look back at 2014 and discuss her plans for the New Year and hear news about imminent designs and collaborations. Quickly it became a mutual retrospective of the past year and Karie even interviewed me!

I had intended to include this interview as part of the next podcast, but we had such a great chat and covered such a lot of topics that it really deserves a special episode; I can't think of  a nicer way to kick off the new KnitBritish podcast year!

We cover a lot of ground including:

  • A look back at 2014
  • our favourite knits of the year
  • discuss challenges, as well as resolutions (of sorts)
  • what we have learned and will take with us into 2015
  • looking forward to events such as EYF
  • AND, most excitingly, some of Karie's plans and designs for the very new year.

[Full show notes will be at knitbritish.net soon]

Many thanks to Karie for chatting with me. I am back in TWO DAYS (!) with exciting Edinburgh Yarn Fest news, so come back soon!
